Jasmine Titcomb

Jasmine Titcomb of the Sebeka volleyball team is the SportsCow.com Female Athlete of the Week.
 
Titcomb recently went over the 2,000 mark for set assists in her career.   As of October 24, Jasmine she has 2,059 assists, the most in Sebeka volleyball history.
 
"Jasmine and has continued to improve each season I have coached her," said Sebeka head coach Becca Pulju. "I have coached her since JO in 6th grade and she has worked hard to be a good player. Last winter she played JO for CLC out of Brainerd and she really stepped up her game with the extra court time."
 
Titcomb's season stats so far in 2012 include:  503 assists, 32 ace serves, serving 96% (leads the team), 2 kills and 221 digs.
 
Jasmine, a senior, has been the setter for the Lady Trojans for the past three seasons.
 
She was All- Park Region Conference and serves as one of the Trojans' captains this year.
 
"She is a leader and is consistently helping younger players improve their game," Pulju stated.  "She is an athlete and works hard everyday. She is a perfectionist that is working to improve all the time."
 
Titcomb is successful in the classroom as well.  She has a 3.93 cumulative GPA, is co-President of the Student Body and has been in Student Council for six years. Jasmine isalso  in NHS, BPA, Band, jazz band, pep band, choir, show choir, and according to Pulju, an "all-around good kid."
 
"It has been so enjoyable to watch Jasmine develop as an athlete and setter over the years," Pulju added.  "Her determination and hard work serve as an example to all young athletes."

Least Favorite Subject: College Algebra

 

Favorite Food: Canít go wrong with Mac and Cheese

 

Favorite Activities/Hobbies: I like to hang out with my friends, play sports, watch football with my dad, anything like that!

 

If you were stranded on an island, five (5) people and/or things you want to have with you: Matches, tons of food, a jet ski, Ryan Reynolds, and maybe some sunscreen
