The SportsCow.com Female Athlete of the Week is Hannah VanHale of the Bertha-Hewitt Bears' volleyball team.
VanHale, a 5'7" senior, achieved a major milestone in her career when she made her 1,000th dig in a match against Underwood on September 23.
Hannah has been a varsity starter for four years for the Bears.
"She has been a force in the back row and the past couple of years has been a reputable hitter in the front," said Bertha-Hewitt head coach Janelle Bright. "She enjoys the challenge of defending good hitters in her left back position. Hannah was voted captain this year and stepped up as a leader."
