A third period rally lifted Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Wadena-Deer Creek to a 5-4 victory over Marshall Saturday in Long Prairie.
After the Tigers scored twice in the first two minutes of the third period to take a 4-2 lead, the Blue Devils scored three unanswered goals to pull out the win.
Kenzie Christianson scored the game-winner with less than two minutes to play in the game. Eliza Gould assisted on the play.
It was Christianson's second goal of the game. The sophomore forward had scored just over a minute into the second period to give LP-GE/W-DC a 2-1 lead. Abigail Ecker assisted on that goal and scored two of her own. Ecker opened the scoring 2:33 into the game to give the Blue Devils a 1-0 lead in the first period. The sophomore defenseman then scored the equalizer at 7:03 of the third.
Katelyn Barthel also scored in the third period.
Shots on goal were even at 26 apiece. Blue Devils' goaltender Angela Hanson made 22 saves.
