Lexi Frederick, a senior middle hitter from Henning, has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball for the Minnesota State Community and Technical College Spartans.
Lexi is a five-year starter for the Hornets in volleyball, receiving Park Region All-Conference honors her sophomore and junior years and conference MVP her junior and senior years. Lexi was voted team MVP and captain for both her junior and senior years. She also surpassed the 1,000 dig mark her senior year. She’s received an academic letter the last 3 years and is a member of her school’s NHS and SADD Group.
“I’m thrilled Lexi has decided to be a part of the M State volleyball team,” said Spartan volleyball coach Abby Crowser. “Her ability to not only be a dominating force in the front row, but also an effective passer and digger in the back row make for a dynamic combination.”
Lexi is the daughter of Brian and Hannah Frederick of Vining.
