Otter Tail Central scored on the first play of the game and never looked back as they defeated Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 72-6 Friday night in Battle Lake.
OTC scored four times in the first quarter and led 42-0 by halftime.
The Bulldogs' first-team offense did not play in the second half.
The Otter Tail Central offense rolled up 426 total yards, while the Thunder managed just 172, with most of those coming in the second half.
Cody Seedorf rushed for two scores and had one receiving for the 'Dogs. Wes Olson scored both of the Bulldogs' touchdowns in the second quarter. Andrew VanErp ran for one touchdown and had an interception on defense. Tony Ukkelberg passed for one TD and was 5-for-5 on his extra-point attempts.
In the second half, the OTC JV scored on touchdown runs by Ben Naddy, Nate Hart and Max Naddy. The Bulldogs defense got into the scoring when Derrick Christianson recovered a fumble and returned it 16 yards for a touchdown.
The Thunder got their only touchdown on a 31-yard pass from Hudson Pung to Samuel Olson with about 8:45 to play in the fourth quarter.
